Quickie #3

Quickie #3: Make a quickie that enhance the function of the body or a body part.
I created a pair of winter goggles to enhance the function of the eyes in the winter, because personally, walking into the cold winter wind sometimes makes my eyes water.  With these goggles, the wearer's eyes are no longer bothered by harsh weather conditions and it is easier to see.

Form Project

Form Project:
I chose to alter the form of my body by changing the shape of my shoulders.  So instead of a rounded shoulder, mine are now square and pointed.

Quickie # 2: Make something that alters or reveals the wearer's identity.

I altered my physical identity to be that of  Grecian's.  I had some fake flowers in my room, so I wove them together to make a sort of Grecian headdress.  I also made it look like I was wearing a toga by wrapping a cream-colored scarf over my shoulder.

Quickie #1

Human Body as Armature Quickie #1: Make something that alters a body or body part to be ideal or non-ideal.
My version of this quickie is a blonde wig made from yellow pom-poms.  The idea is that the blonde wig makes someone more ideal, because blonde-haired, blue eyed people are often stereotyped as beautiful because they have "ideal" looks.
